This video would be a wonderful addition to teach students about the "magic e". Not only can the silent "e" be magic but also super. It can be difficult to teach this concept to young children; grades Kindergarten-1st grade. I think this video would be great for students to actually see how the "e" can make vowels say its name. The phrases in the video are also catchy which students can learn to help them memorize the teaching strategy best. This video will be best when teaching a word with the vcv (vowel, consonant, vowel) combination. I could even stop it at times to let the students say the words and think of other words that may rhyme or have the same long vowel sound.

Magic Super "e" Lesson
This video would be a wonderful addition to teach students about the "magic e". Not only can the silent "e" be magic but also super. It can be difficult to teach this concept to young children; grades Kindergarten-1st grade. I think this video would be great for students to actually see how the "e" can make vowels say its name. The phrases in the video are also catchy which students can learn to help them memorize the teaching strategy best. This video will be best when teaching a word with the vcv (vowel, consonant, vowel) combination. I could even stop it at times to let the students say the words and think of other words that may rhyme or have the same long vowel sound.
Volcano Lesson
This video is a song that teaches about the volcano Mount St. Helen. It would be a great song to tie in with the lesson on volcanoes. It not only is a song but it provides factual information and real pictures of St. Helen. Some students learn well with music and this is a song that will definitely be a repeat in their head. Depending on what grade volcanoes are taught, I would say this song is best for second and third grade. This kind of video would be beneficial because it would be more appealing for students to learn than just reading from a textbook about it.
Dinosaur Lesson
This video is just a short 2 minute clip. I like how there are multiple dinosaur video clips to choose from. I would plan to use this with a science lesson about dinosaurs. It would be appropriate for first or second graders. Any of the video clips can be used as a treat at the end of the lesson. I would most likely want my students to complete dinosaur reports. I can show them this clip before completing their report to give them some background and visual information. The clips are amusing for young children and it would add value to actually see some of the comparisons with the size of the dinosaurs. It also provides educational information about the appetite that the T.Rex has. I chose this video because the T.Rex has always seemed to be a favorite and popular dinosaur with many.
